OUR STORY
How did Soaring Skills LLC start?
Frequently, Kasie and Mike, the visionary founders of Soaring Skills, are asked about the inspiration behind launching this company. In short, their motivation stemmed from recognizing a significant need for the specialized services they now provide.
The longer story unfolds through Kasie’s personal experience with her son, who is enrolled in the CLTS waiver program. Several years ago, during a visit from a case manager, discussions about Taemin’s unique needs led to the establishment of goals and outcomes. While some referrals were made, Kasie discovered that certain crucial services she sought were not readily available in rural Crawford County.
Having previously collaborated in the field of Special Education, Kasie and Mike often found themselves engaged in conversations about the pressing need for such services within their rural community. After years of thoughtful discussions and thorough research, Soaring Skills LLC was established with a mission to cater to children and adults like Taemin in both the CLTS Waiver Program and CCS Comprehensive Community Support Program. Presently, Soaring Skills LLC proudly serves as a trusted vendor for various counties, including Crawford County, Vernon County, Unified Services of Grant County, Unified Services of Iowa County, Richland County, La Crosse County, Monroe County, Jackson County, and Juneau County.
